Welcome to Casa Rainbow, Mojácar’s newest and freshest small, boutique bed and breakfast; Gay owned and run we offer friendly and welcoming holiday accommodation for grown-ups only. I relocated here from Brighton UK in 2020 in the midst of a global pandemic, determined to rebuild a new Bed and Breakfast business against all odds. Every room has been rebuilt with new furniture, along with the pool, patio, and courtyard among other things. Now that the world is re-emerging from these difficult times, I look forward to welcoming new visitors, who I am sure will fall in love with Mojácar as I have. Casa Rainbow currently has just 4 large, en-suite rooms , lots of outdoor space, a private pool, bar area and plenty of places to sit and relax including a large roof terrace with sea and mountain views, so is ideal for those people looking for a quieter stay, where there are less people, or for groups of up to 8 people who would like an exclusive stay, retreat, or event-based holiday. We are located just 200 metres from the beach (“playa”) at the quieter end of Mojácar, with easy access to bars, restaurants, the commercial centre, and frequent bus routes. The Pool
We have the newly retiled private pool, with its distinctive rainbow stripe down the middle, with hammock and sun loungers around the edge. The pool area gets the sun for most of the day, so you can sunbathe here until things get too hot, then plunge into the pool to cool off! Next to the pool is our new bar area and patio, where you can eat your breakfast in the morning sun, chillout during the day on the sofa under the lemon and orange tree or enjoy an evening drink or special cocktail at our tiled bar in the evening.
The Villa
Each of our 4 large, en-suite bedrooms have been rebuilt from scratch and fully refurnished. Each brightly decorated, air-conditioned room has a king-sized bed (one room can be converted to 2 single beds for a twin room), a desk / dressing table, large LCD TV with local and satellite TV, mini fridge-freezer, “Dolce Gusto” coffee machine with a selection of coffee, tea and chocolate drinks, large wardrobe, safe and a modern en-suite bathroom, with walk-in shower. All of our rooms are accessed via the Moroccan courtyard, with its blue tiled floor and feature arches it remains cool even in the hot summer sun. We provide a refillable bottle of water in each room, which can be reused and refilled from our water filter during your stay. We also provide a complimentary bottle of wine and a couple of beers if you stay with us for more than 5 days To try to do our bit for the environment and reduce plastic and other waste, as well as the water bottles, each bathroom is stocked with organic shower gel, shampoo and hand wash dispensers, and the hot water is solar powered, reducing electric/gas use.
